Hi!
My name is Luca Bonacci (they/them) and I'm a Philadelphia based nonbinary illustrator/sketch artist!
My work seeks out the essence of identity, relationships, and stories through reactionary drawings, playful illustrations, and bold motion graphics. I'm interested in capturing the spirit of theatrical and dance productions through live drawings, as well as exploring how my capacity for gesture translates to the stage. I'm passionate about the advancement of LGBTQIA+ people and approach art history and contemporary events through a queer perspective and self investigation. I love to collaborate, dream up possibilities, and help folks make their ideas a reality. Nothing makes me happier than telling stories through imagery and being of use to others in the process!
I am currently open to select commission projects, prioritizing theatre, film, and floral inspired works. Some examples I would consider include opening night gifts, poster graphics, and tribute gifts to favorite shows, movies, and flowers.
